Inktober’s first prompt was “ring”. My first thought was of a wedding rin and then it hit me… The circle/ ring of life. This drawing was inspired by a quote by Chief Seattle stating the following:

All things share the same breath- the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all life it supports.

The first time I read this quote I was in high school and it influenced how I saw the world and nature. I firmly believe that we must strive to be more conscious in our decisions and how they may affect the environment around us- not just now but also in the future.
