𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬

Hello darlings,

I hope you all are doing well.

The second prompt for Inktober was mindless… Oh deary me, it almost left me out of my mind. I believe that nobody can be totally mindless except if you are unconscious. Your brain even works when you are sleeping.

So after some time and Picasso’s paintings for inspiration, an idea started to evolve. I started to think about societal views and cultural norms, and how they shape us. This sometimes leads us to bury ourselves under masks to ‘fit’ in. It causes one to act mindlessly almost like a robot.

So this drawing bloomed and blossomed on the page. Even though it is a far cry from perfect, I started to grow some sense adoration for it. I started to love it for what it is with all its imperfections. I feel that we must also to start to love ourselves, with our imperfections and all.
